Something To Brighten My Day

My two favorite little men stopped by the hospital today to see me. Brad took Chely to Urgent Care and before they left West Plains they stopped by. She is fine, just a touch of the flu. Cameron really wasn't too social--he was tired and just wanted his Daddy and Mommy. But my little man Patrick couldn't get enough of his Nana. He had stories to tell (as he always does). He had to come into the Pharmacy and have me hold him, then he gave me lots of hugs and kisses when he had to leave. It was such a treat for them to stop by!! Then Chely texted me tonight and said that Miss Emily had a reading test today at school and she is reading above her first grade level. Way to go, Emily!!!

Doyle has been wiped out--he worked his days last week, then on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday he worked 12 hour days. They are changing some equipment at the mill and asked him to help. So now he has to work another 5 days this week (possibly 6, depending on how they run) before he gets a day off. That's a lot of days in a row.

My week is half done as of today--just two more days, then I'll have three off. I'm ready--the hospital has been so busy for so long that we never seem to have any down time anymore. It's good for business, but I kinda liked it not being so busy. We opened a new unit today so that means even more work for us. Guess it's job security, and the good thing about being busy is that it makes the days fly by. Here at home I'm trying to get things together for a yard sale. We were suppose to have one last weekend but with the trip to Minnesota I just wasn't ready. Holly wasn't ready either, so we put it off. Now I have things setting around the house, ready to go. If we don't have one soon, I'm just going to donate it and be done with it. I would like to get a little money for the stuff, but I can't stand to have it sitting around for too long. Must be my claustrophobia!! Either way, it's good to have it out of the house. Now if I could just get Brad to take all of his stuff!!!
