Okay, so I usually hate it when people brag about their marriages or relationships--because when you brag, that really means that your relationship sucks!!! BUT, I'm gonna say tonight that I have a GREAT husband (not bragging, just stating fact). Not only does he put up with all my shit, but he loves me more each day despite it. We have been through some tough times, during the almost 30 years we have been together, but when you are truly meant for each other, you work things out. Even when we divorced, we were never apart (yes, he always came to my house, or I went to his--more times he came to me--all I had to do was call--which was often). We ended up re-married, which is no surprise to people that really KNEW us. Sometimes when things are right, you just know it. That's how it should be--FOREVER!!! I can only say that Doyle is mine and I am his--enough said!!! I couldn't be happier in my life and I must say that I think he feels the same!
This is a really strange post for me, but I feel like I just need to type this--I'm feeling somewhat nostalgia tonight and Doyle has been through a LOT with me, I just want him to know that's it's not gone unnoticed. I love you, babe!!! I'm not sure where I would be without you, but I'm sure that I wouldn't be as happy as I am tonight!

That is so nice to hear. You don't often hear spouses say that about each other - especially after 30 years. Just gotta ask though - did something happen to prompt this post?????
Lorie--No, nothing happened except that I came home from work and Doyle was mowing the lawn, mulching the garden, and he really didn't want supper!! That made me realize that he is MY perfect man!!! Also, Twlya's email (about Roy's marker) made me think--what would I do without Doyle in my life? Sometimes, it good to just think about things like that!!!
P.S. You gotta "love" a man who doesn't want supper after you've worked a 10 hour shift!!!!
