Playing the Waiting Game
Will it storm or won't it. The weatherman says yes, he's just not sure what all is coming our way. At some point this evening/night it's suppose to begin with rain/sleet turning to snow. They are talking anywhere from 6-12". Yikes!!! That doesn't seem like all that much, but that much snow would shut down the rural areas here in the Ozarks. There are so many back roads with twists, turns, and hills. Even tho we only live 1/8mile from a major four lane highway, it will be a chore getting onto the highway. The road crews do a good job of cleaning off the four lane but unfortunately for us when they push the snow it creates a huge drift at the end of the side roads so getting onto the highway is sometimes impossible. Last year Doyle high-centered his car while trying to get me to work. One good thing is that I'm off work until Sunday so that gives us a couple of days to dig out! I ventured to Wal-Mart this morning and stocked up on all the goodies/groceries that I thought we might need the next week or so (just in case). I figured Wal-Mart would be crazy with people this morning but I guess I got there early enough to beat the crowd, hopefully I haven't forgotten anything. I really hope that I've done all these preparations for nothing, but I really do think that we are due, and this one doesn't look like it's going to miss us! :(

this has been one of the snowiest winters I can remember. Hope you don't get the full brunt of what they are predicting for you. They say we are going to get more snow Monday. I don't know where we will go with more snow. The snowbanks are already really high. I am sooooooooooo ready for Spring.
